At 20 Phan Thúc Duyện, the room was small enough that a few rails had to stand outside. The wooden sign hung over the door. Inside, clothes were sorted, checked and photographed one piece at a time.

THE ROOM THAT HELD THE BEGINNING
Newly found clothes waited in bags on the floor. The owner went through them by hand: checking the fabric, seams, fastenings and signs of wear before deciding what could stay.
Yen May began with a simple pleasure in finding old clothes that still felt good to wear. The shop was small, but every piece received time and attention.
BEFORE A PIECE WAS POSTED
Front, back and side. Sleeves rolled once, then again. A jacket with a skirt, then with trousers. Trying things on made it easier to see the real shape, movement and small flaws a hanger could hide.
The photos helped customers understand the fit. They also helped the owner decide whether a piece belonged on the rail at all.
2021
In 2021, the first Instagram account was lost, along with its posts and messages. Yen May started a new page and continued with the same everyday work: sorting clothes, replying to customers and packing orders.

The shop has more space now. There are more rails to arrange, more visitors walking in and more pieces leaving in suitcases.
The routine remains familiar: check the fabric, look closely at the condition, try the shape and keep only what feels worth showing someone.
